We can carry out a a range of finishes from the most modern to the most traditional. Timber can be hand waxed, French polished or oiled as well as sprayed with the latest hard-wearing cellulose lacquers. We also have our own methods of giving colour and texture to oak which have been developed following our long experience in antique restoration. With a special chemical process we can give new, white oak the warm tones of old oak beams and panelling and this, together with carefully controlled sandblasting that removes soft fibres and opens the grain of the wood, makes our work sit sympathetically in period rooms, as well as looking stunning in a contemporary setting.
